Richarlison has encountered some difficulties since arriving to Tottenham in the summer of 2022. It took until April for the Brazilian to score his first Premier League goal for the Lilywhites last season as he struggled with form, managing only three goals for the whole campaign (Transfermarkt).

Paradoxically, he has already scored another goal in the Carabao Cup (Transfermarkt) and matched that domestic total this season. In fact, under Ange Postecoglou, Richarlison has appeared a bit more hopeful.

But once again, ailments are impeding his development; the 26-year-old just had surgery to address a persistent pelvic problem (ESPN). Before the operation, the celebrity said on Instagram that he had been dealing with “a lot of pain.”

Spurs players Micky van de Ven and James Maddison are out till the New Year, and Richarlison is only one of several injured players at the moment. Fortunately, though, it appears Richarlison will return to action shortly.

In a tweet sent by the team, Richarlison is shown returning to the pitch, hitting the ball, and also appears to be in a good mood. The caption on the image reads, “Richy stepping up his rehab.”

The possibility of seeing a first-team player return to health soon would probably make Tottenham supporters happy. They may also be expecting that Richarlison will be prepared to “contribute” after his comeback, as claimed by Postecoglou recently (ESPN Brazil).
