Wrexham boss Phil Parkinson has said Jordan Tunnicliffe and Eogan O’Connell are making good progress on their injury recoveries.
Wrexham are currently without the centre-back duo. The Red Dragons are back in League Two action this weekend with a home clash against Crewe Alexandra
Last time out, they were defeated 5-0 away against Stockport County. The team led by Phil Parkinson will be hungry to defeat the Railwaymen and avenge that devastating defeat.
According to Parkinson, who gave the Evening Leader this injury update: “Hopefully Eoghan will be back in full training by the end of the week while Jordan is building his way back up.” He is making progress, but his back issue has kept him from playing for a while, so we need to make sure he’s well.

Having Tunnicliffe and O’Connell back in the lineup will be a huge help for Wrexham, who have let up too many goals so far this season. They have now conceded 20 goals in nine games.
Since his team’s National League championship victory earlier this year, Tunnicliffe hasn’t played a single game. In July 2022, he relocated to the Racecourse Ground in order to strengthen the defensive unit with further competitiveness and depth.
Since then, the former England C international has made 30 appearances across all leagues and contributed with two goals. He has previously played for teams including Barnsley, AFC Fylde, and Crawley Town.
O’Connell has participated in eight games this semester, six of which have been inside.
He joined Wrexham in January after leaving Charlton Athletic in League One and was a major factor in the team’s promotion. The former Republic of Ireland youth international has previously worked for Celtic and Rochdale.
