The most recent information from Elland Road following Leeds United’s thrilling 3-2 victory over Norwich City
Three Premier League teams are apparently interested in Crysencio Summerville, who is leading Leeds United’s effort to return to the top division right now.
This season, the former Feyenoord winger has netted four goals and contributed two assists. On Saturday, he pulled off a stunning comeback victory over Norwich City, helping his team overcome a two-goal deficit. Daniel Farke secured all three points against his previous team despite goals from Shane Duffy and Gabriel Sara, as well as an own goal from Duffy and a late brace from Summerville.
Former Whites striker Ross McCormack called Summerville the finest player in the Championship, and now writer Fabrizio Romano is claiming many teams are prepared to give the winger a chance to return to the Premier League in the January transfer window.
“Crysencio Summerville with a brace today vs. Norwich — he rejected several clubs in the summer to stay at LUFC and feel key player there,” he wrote on X.
In the run-up to the January transfer window, Crysencio is being watched by additional Premier League teams, including Burnley, Bournemouth, and Everton.
After Leeds’ defeat, a Canaries defender makes a “silly” allegation.
Norwich City star Shane Duffy has described Leeds United as a ‘good team’ after his side surrendered a two-goal lead in Saturday’s 3-2 defeat against Daniel Farke’s men.
In an amazing victory over his old employers on their own field, Whites coach Farke’s Republic of Ireland international struck the goal on both occasions. Duffy was left to consider a “disappointing” performance on his own part as they squandered a fantastic chance to pursue their own promotion drive.
It’s disappointing, he added.
