Check News: Who supporters of the Jacksonville Jaguars should support in Week 14

The Jacksonville Jaguars’ Monday Night Football game didn’t go as planned; they were defeated by the 10-point underdog Cincinnati Bengals 34-31 in overtime. The Jaguars would have gained temporary first-round bye possession and moved up to the top of the AFC playoff standings with a victory. Rather, the club fell to fourth position, after the Kansas City Chiefs, Miami Dolphins, and Baltimore Ravens.

The Jaguars’ record dropped to 8-4, but the AFC South was still getting hotter. With victories in Week 13, the records of the Houston Texans and Indianapolis Colts both improved to 7-5. Here are the teams you should support as the divisional opponents get closer to provide the Jaguars with the best chance of making the playoffs:

New York Jets vs. Houston Texans

Here, Jaguars supporters will want to cheer for the New York Jets. The Jets’ 4-8 record puts them almost out of the postseason picture. With a 7-5 record, the Texans, on the other side, are in danger of losing. In the standings, the Jaguars will have a little advantage if the Texans fall to 7-6.

The Jets’ rumor mill has been flooded with speculation all season long. Despite talk that Zach Wilson was uninterested in returning to starting quarterback, head coach Robert Saleh announced on Wednesday that Wilson will start on Sunday after being benched earlier this season.
