Emmanuel Dennis is not included in Nottingham Forest’s final 25-man roster for the 2023–24 Premier League season.
The Nigerian forward was deemed unnecessary after turning down a loan transfer to CSKA Moscow in Russia.
He is allegedly close to signing with Istanbul Basaksehir and Adana Demirspor, who both submitted proposals for the 26-year-old player before the deadline on Friday.
Fabrizio Romano, a transfer football specialist, claims that both Turkish teams have been instructed to submit loan offers for the Nigerian player, with the proposed arrangement guaranteeing that his wage will be paid in full.
Ola Aina and Taiwo Awoniyi, fellow countrymen of Dennis, were a part of the Tricky Trees’ roster for the season.

Awoniyi, who led Forest in scoring last season with 10 goals, has maintained his hot streak, scoring three goals through four EPL games. Along with Chris Wood, Divock Origi, Callum Hudson-Odoi, and Tricky Trees’ Callum Hudson-Odoi, he is the season’s offensive leader.
Aina is one of the 11 defenders that Steve Cooper has registered for the season, having only joined Forest this summer on a free transfer after leaving Serie A’s Torino.
He moved to City Ground in the summer and has already made three appearances there.
Both players are anticipated to remain in the Forest match-day squad for their match against Burnley on Saturday.
MIDFIELDER TO RECEIVE SURPRISE TRANSFER AFTER MISSING LEEDS MOVE
Jonjo Shelvey, a midfielder for Nottingham Forest, is about to sign with Caykur Rizespor of Turkey.
Jonjo Shelvey might potentially join Caykur Rizespor in Turkey after missing out on a transfer to Leeds United.
This information comes from The Telegraph, which claims that Shelvey is ‘near’ to finishing his relocation to Turkey.
According to reports, Shelvey plans to travel to Turkey to put the finishing touches on his plan.
Shelvey has been made available by Forest and will join Caykur Rizespor on loan through the end of the current campaign.
After being promoted to Turkey’s top division last season, Caykur Rizespor will now turn to Shelvey to assist them maintain their Super Lig status.
Jonjo Shelvey was passed over by Leeds United.
According to the article, Shelvey received offers to remain in England prior to the transfer deadline earlier this month.
Shelvey’s potential suitors are believed to include Burnley, Leeds United, and Sheffield United.
The 31-year-old could have dropped into the Championship or remained in the Premier League.
Whatever the reason, Leeds ultimately decided to recruit Ilia Gruev from Werder Bremen in its place.
Leeds chose to hire a Bundesliga immigrant over a player with extensive Premier League experience.
Leeds United passed over Jonjo Shelvey.
Shelvey’s departure was a catastrophe for Nottingham Forest.
Shelvey was only acquired by Forest in January of this year, when they offered him a contract for about £70,000 per week when he departed Newcastle United.
Shelvey was supposed to resume playing on a regular basis after struggling to have an effect during the first half of the previous season.
However, Shelvey only made eight appearances for Forest and has been entirely sidelined under manager Steve Cooper.
Since Forest has made so many acquisitions in the past year or two, some of them were inevitably going to be duds.
They won’t care whether Shelvey likes Leeds, Caykur Rizespor, or anyone else; they will just act as though they do.
