Frank Leboeuf worries that Chelsea’s £200 million tandem of Moises Caicedo and Enzo Fernandez are being exposed by inexperience in the midfield engine room.
The highly-assembled team managed by Mauricio Pochettino arrived to Anfield Friday night with the intention of building on what appeared to be a solid run of form.
But with a devastating exhibition of the heavy metal football that has defined the German coach’s nine-year reign, a rampaging Liverpool squad, energized by the news of Jurgen Klopp’s imminent departure, simply swept Chelsea away.

He currently lives in a pretty odd environment, and you are kind of dragged into it and thrown into it, making it difficult to deal with.
That’s the reason I constantly discuss athletes who have the expertise to solve any issue. Because of his intelligence, Thiago Silva is able to solve challenges and knows how to deal with them. We witness Badiashile and Disasi struggling to deal with it, and Enzo and Caicedo are no different.
The same holds true for Caicedo and Enzo. You need guys with certain experience who can work with the others to solve all the issues and perhaps lighten the load in the locker room a little bit.

With the same opponents in the final later this month, Pochettino is aware that he will need to devise a new strategy to prevent a similarly humiliating scenario.
The Chelsea manager issued a warning, saying, “If we compete in the same way [at Wembley] as today, it will be the same result.”
It’s going to be hard if we don’t get better. In this type of game, learning is what matters to us. It’s healthy for us to believe that we can do better.
