Three Steelers Selected to 2024 Pro Bowl
PITTSBURGH — The Pittsburgh Steelers will have three representatives at the 2024 Pro Bowl games. The league has announced outside linebacker T.J. Watt, safety Minkah Fitzpatrick and special teams ace Miles Killebrew have been selected to this year’s event.
This is Watt’s sixth consecutive Pro Bowl selection. The Defensive Player of the Year candidate leads the league in sacks (17) and has also added 60 tackles, 18 tackles for loss, 34 quarterback hits, eight pass deflections, four forced fumbles, three fumble recoveries, an interception and a defensive touchdown to his resume this season.
This is Fitzpatrick’s fourth Pro Bowl, with his first three coming in 2019, 2020 and 2022.
This season, despite dealing with hamstring and knee injuries, and a broken hand, Fitzpatrick has contributed 64 tackles and three pass deflections to the Steelers defense. He’s allowed just 56% of passes thrown his way to be completed without giving up a touchdown in 2023.
As for Killebrew, this is his first Pro Bowl selection, but it comes as a well-earned honor for the Steelers special teams captain. Since joining the Steelers in 2021, Killebrew has totaled four blocked punts, which is tied for second-most of any team (not player) in that same span.
