Hendrick Motorsports’ 2024 NASCAR Success Ends on a Sad Note Despite 11 Wins and Strong Finishes with Larson, Elliott, Byron, Bowman

Hendrick Motorsports enjoyed a highly successful 2024 NASCAR Cup Series season, marked by impressive performances from all four of its drivers—Kyle Larson, Chase Elliott, William Byron, and Alex Bowman. The team collectively secured 11 race victories, with each driver contributing at least one win.

Larson stood out with six wins, including a dominant performance at the Bristol Night Race, where he led 462 of 500 laps. Byron finished the season in third place in the points standings, while the other drivers also secured top-nine finishes, underscoring the team’s consistency and competitiveness throughout the year.

Despite these remarkable achievements, the season ended on a bittersweet note. The team’s strong performance was overshadowed by the sense of a missed opportunity for even greater success. Larson, Elliott, Byron, and Bowman’s combined effort helped elevate Hendrick Motorsports to new heights, but the team faced challenges that prevented them from achieving their ultimate goals.

With a total of 35 full-time seasons of experience between the drivers, Hendrick Motorsports remains a dominant force in NASCAR. The 2024 season is remembered for its impressive statistics and milestones, but it also serves as a reminder of how fleeting success can be in such a competitive sport, leaving fans with mixed emotions.
