Even though Demarai Gray and i Alex Iwob left six days after the English transfer window closed, Arnaut Danjuma scored in both of Everton’s most recent games, Dwight McNeil made his season debut off the bench against Sheffield United, and Jack Harrison is still on the way, Dyche still has options out wide. To keep the present midfield trio of Abdoulaye Doucoure, Amadou Onana, and Idrissa Gueye on their toes, James Garner might fight for a spot in his preferred central midfield position once the Blues have all of their wide players available.

With good reason, Jordan Pickford is England’s starting goalkeeper and is possibly more important to this team’s season than any other player. Ashley Young, in my opinion, is a little more superior to Vitalii Mykolenko at left back and a better fit at right back. Nathan Patterson has improved offensively and has made several beautiful balls into the box, like the one that set up Arnaut Danjuma’s goal against Sheffield United, although Seamus Coleman likely outperforms him. One of the more popular topics of discussion on this issue is the defensive duel between Ben Godfrey, Jarrad Branthwaite, and James Tarkowski, who starts in the middle of the defense. Equally challenging is the wide position, where Dwight McNeil, Arnaut Danjuma, and Jack Harrison are all likely to be considered first-choice choices when healthy.
Not to mention Dele. It would be amazing to see him become fit again and return to being the player he was at Tottenham Hotspur, or at least close to it, after his courageous and open interview prior to the start of the season.
