Gareth Ainsworth, the manager of QPR, has no issues with Jack Colback being dismissed after Sunderland rallied from a deficit to win at Loftus Road. Due to his late lunge on Jobe Bellingham midway through the first half, former Sunderland and Newcastle United player Colback was given a straight red card by referee Dean Whitestone, giving the West London team a 1-0 lead.
Following a deflected Jack Clarke goal in stoppage time of the first half, goals from Dan Ballard and Abdoullah Ba in the second half helped the Black Cats turn things around. Ainsworth responded, “No, I’ve seen the video once and Jack is late,” when asked if he had a problem with the red card.
