Mauricio Pochettino, a manager from Argentina, thinks running Chelsea is simpler than running Tottenham Hotspur.
The beginning of Mauricio Pochettino’s tenure at Chelsea has not been easy. The Blues are presently 14th in the points standings, and the Argentine boss has only won one Premier League game thus far. Even after investing millions on new players, the London club has had trouble getting off the ground.
Pochettino still thinks running Chelsea is simpler than running any of the other English teams he has been a part of, despite the ongoing challenges. The 51-year-old believes his previous positions at Southampton and Tottenham were considerably more challenging than his current one.
“It’s less than hard it was in Southampton and Tottenham, Trust me, believe me,” the Argentine manager remarked through Fabrizio Romano.
The ability to score goals is the only thing we are lacking.
The former Tottenham manager thinks his squad is playing excellent football and that positive results will soon follow. Pochettino believes that if the Blues can figure out why they aren’t scoring goals, everything else will fall into place.

Chelsea had struggled throughout last season and one of the major concerns for them was their form in front of goal. After the appointment of Pochettino, they have added a lot of quality to their attack but the goals are still missing. As a result, they haven’t had the kind of impact they wanted to have at the start of the 2023-24 season.
On the back of his team’s struggle, the boss has talked about the pressure of managing the club. He feels the job at the Blues isn’t as difficult as it was back in the day when he was managing Tottenham Hotspur.
Pochettino was in charge of Tottenham from the summer of 2014 to November 2019. He managed them in a total of 293 matches and averaged 1.84 points per game. While he didn’t manage to win any major titles, he surely did a great job at the club. Under his leadership, Spurs even made it to the final of the Champions League.
The 51-year-old has recently taken charge of Chelsea and he has managed them in seven matches but has only won twice. Pochettino will look to have more positive results in the near future but at this point in time, he feels managing the Blues is easier than it was to manage the Saints or Spurs
