Wolves bid farewell to some high earning players in the summer.

The need to make a big profit and cut the wage bill down was a big requirement for the club.

High profile names like Ruben Neves, Nathan Collins, Raul Jimenez and Matheus Nunes were sold.

Diego Costa, Joao Moutinho, and other players departed their contracts early as well, including Adama Traore.

Wolves are currently in a better financial condition.

Some of these people have ages that are simply astronomical.

Just ahead of teammate Kevin De Bruyne, Manchester City’s Erling Haaland is reportedly the highest-paid player in the Premier League, earning nearly £400,000 per week.

But it’s intriguing to see how Wolves’ salary structure has changed.

With six-figure monthly salaries, Moutinho, Jimenez, and Costa were formerly considered to be Molineux’s top earners.

According to The Athletic, Pablo Sarabia, a January addition, is now the Wolves player with the highest salary.

Pablo Sarabia must demonstrate more when his position as Wolves’ top earner is made known.
Sarabia’s weekly salary isn’t really shared by The Athletic.

However, Spotrac estimates it to be close to £90,000, which is a considerable expenditure on the part of the team.

You would anticipate Sarabia to put up some very outstanding performances for that type of money.

Sarabia moved to Molineux from Paris Saint-Germain for £4.3 million, but thus far he has disappointed.

He just isn’t having an impact in games at the moment, and it’s disappointing considering the goals and assists numbers he’s put up at his previous clubs.

Wolves need him to start having an influence. Firstly, he needs to actually force his way back into the starting XI.
