All you need to know: Birmingham City v Huddersfield Town injury news as nine ruled out and one doubt

Huddersfield Town team news

Danny Ward and David Kasumu are unlikely to feature for the Terriers. Striker Ward has an Achilles issue, whilst Kasumu is dealing with a hamstring injury.

Ward has been missing for the last four games, and hasn’t played since the last international break. Kasumu has missed the last two matches after coming off against Stoke City.

Both players should have their definitive time of absence told to them this week when the Huddersfield medical staff get their results from their tests.

Josh Ruffels is a doubt for Huddersfield meanwhile after like Kasumu, suffering an injury against Stoke. He didn’t play against Coventry City, and has a groin issue. He returned to training last week, but his status is doubtful.

Right-back Ollie Turton meanwhile is Huddersfield’s long-term absentee. He suffered an anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) injury in February, and will be out until 2024.

Out: Danny Ward, David Kasumu, Ollie Turton. Doubtful: Josh Ruffels.

Ahead of the EFL Championship match between Birmingham City and Huddersfield Town, the most recent injury and team news.

As they take on Huddersfield Town in the EFL Championship at St. Andrew’s, Birmingham City is looking for their first victory in more than a month.

Blues lost 2-0 to Norwich City on the road at Carrow Road on Saturday, ending their winning streak for the month of September. Last month, a number of injuries were reported, and some players will be absent for some time.

Meanwhile, Huddersfield Town kept up their unblemished start under new manager Darren Moore, who drew with Ipswich Town after last Monday’s late tie with Coventry City.

In light of the foregoing, the following injury and team news is provided ahead of Birmingham City’s EFL Championship matchup against Huddersfield Town:

team news for Birmingham City

Lee Buchanan, a left back, was added to the disabled list last week after suffering an injury on the practice field. He rolled his ankle during practice and is anticipated to miss the rest of the season. Players travel for international football after a double-week of games, but Buchanan will be resting.

Keshi Anderson is also receiving medical attention after suffering an injury against QPR. Due to a hamstring injury, he will be out for six to eight weeks. On Saturday, Oliver Burke, Jay Stansfield, and Koji Miyoshi formed an offensive midfield trio.

Siriki Dembele might be considered, but he has recently returned from a hamstring ailment. Without a doubt, the 27-year-old is a player whose playing time may be restricted as he continues his cautious comeback.

Tyler Roberts, George Hall, and Ethan Laird are all still out due to injuries. In August, Laird and Hall both sustained hamstring injuries, one against Bristol City and the other against Cardiff City.

Tyler Roberts missed all of August and all of September due to a calf injury, with the exception of two games. With the tragic exception of Roberts, none of the three players are near to making a comeback.

Alfie Chang, a recent academy graduate, has been out since August due to a training-field injury. The 21-year-old underwent surgery for a’significant knee injury’ and will be out for several months.

Out: Alfie Chang, Ethan Laird, George Hall, Keshi Anderson, Lee Buchanan and Tyler Roberts.
