2023 in Summary: Jack O’Sullivan

The rookie Hawk missed some of the season due to a groin ailment, but he still showed promise as a sprinting half-forward in the VFL.

Season summary:

A groin injury had the first-year Hawk out of action for parts of the year, but he was still able to show shown good signs as a running half-forward in the VFL. The former Pick 46 from a year ago has demonstrated glimpses of speed and goal sense, and will look to break into the senior side in 2024 as he continues to build his endurance and strength.

What the coaches said:

“Jack is arguably one of the hardest workers on our list at Hawthorn. I was impressed with what he was able to show this year. We saw him dangerous up forward, his work rate and his energy were strong and he brought some pressure to our forward line.” – Zane Littlejohn
