‘A good signing’: Ray Parlour seriously impressed with £15m Tottenham Hotspur player

Destiny Udogie has been among Tottenham Hotspur’s top performers thus far this season as the team is thriving under head coach Ange Postecoglou.

James Maddison is providing assists and creating chances, and Son Heung-min has started banging in the goals for fun again.

Another player who is doing extremely well at the moment is Destiny Udogie.

Udogie has established himself as the first-choice left-back at Tottenham.

The left-back, who represents Italy at the Under-21 level, transferred from Udinese to Tottenham for £15 million (Sky Sports) in the summer of 2022 and spent the previous season there on loan.

The 20-year-old currently plays every week for Tottenham.

Ray Parlour impressed with Destiny Udogie

And, former Arsenal star and talkSPORT pundit Ray Parlour has been impressed.

Parlour said on talkSPORT (6:25am, October 6, 2023): “Udogie has been a good signing for Spurs.”

Destiny Udogie a Tottenham Hotspur gem

In my view, Destiny Udogie is one of the best young players in the Premier League and is a Tottenham Hotspur gem.

Udogie is only 20 years of age now, but he already has a lot of experience.

The youngster was a regular during his time at Udinese.

The left-back made 31 starts and two substitute appearances in Serie A for Udinese last season.

The Italian scored three goals and gave four assists in those games.

During the 2021-22 campaign, Udogie made 29 starts and six substitute appearances in Serie A for Udinese.

The youngster scored five goals and provided four assists in those matches.
