A Sheffield Wednesday loanee admits to the manager that Danny Röhl is ………….

The manager is informed by a Sheffield Wednesday loanee that Danny Röhl is trying to win the first game for the Owls.

JDanny Rohl: Sheffield Wednesday appoint 34-year-old as new boss - BBC Sportohn Buckley, a loanee from Sheffield Wednesday, says he is excited to completely adjust to the expectations of new boss Danny Röhl.

Despite losing his first game as manager, away at Watford last Saturday, the German has only been in charge for just more than a week, but there were many encouraging aspects of the game.

Nevertheless, the Owls remain winless and at the bottom of the Championship standings. Buckley, who is on loan from Blackburn Rovers, a rival team in the second division, is motivated to improve their performance. He has a long history with Wednesday because he used to frequent the Spion Kop frequently.

That only serves to increase his resolve to make sure that this season does not result in an early relegation to League One.

In addition to wanting to prove his value, Buckley is keen to pick up additional tips from Röhl, another foreign coach. He joined with Wednesday while Spanish manager Xisco Munoz was in control, while Dane Jon Dahl Tomasson is his boss at Rovers, his parent club.

“It’s something I have wanted to experience, different managers with different ideas and seeing what I enjoy,” the 24-year-old said to Yorkshire Live. Prior to this time, I had Tony Mowbray at Blackburn for nearly four years, who was an excellent manager. However, in a short space of time, I have now had three managers.

Thus, I believe that seeing various play styles and concepts will be a positive experience for me. Wednesday was the day I used to watch them when I was younger. It’s among the reasons I was drawn to this place. I wanted to try something new and step outside of my comfort zone, so I went for it.

“In the past, I sat in the Kop. My first game was a little strange, but I think I’ve adapted okay so far. It’s very enjoyable for me. We simply need to keep attempting to progress up the table because the boys are fantastic.”

Wednesday’s game against Plymouth Argyle kicks off at 7:45 p.m. tonight.
