Wolves have “high aspirations” for this season, according to Tommy Doyle, but they will need to get better to meet them.

With 11 points from nine games, Wolves is now 12th in the Premier League despite having a lot of tough matches.

The team was predicted to fail this season, but summer addition Doyle is confident in the coaching staff and players as they aim to disprove the naysayers.

When questioned about his goals for the next season, Doyle responded, “It’s just about trying to progress.”

 

Here, we have great expectations for ourselves. It’s a fantastic team and squad, led by an excellent manager and staff.

“We’ll keep working and are excited about the season. While there are certainly areas in which we need to grow, there are also many areas in which we excel.

It should be an excellent season for us if we continue to accomplish those things and make the necessary improvements.

 

Doyle joined Wolves on loan from Manchester City, although Wolves have a £4.3 million option to purchase him outright.

The midfielder, who had to wait patiently for his opportunity on the field, is happy with the transfer as it allows him to fulfill his ambition of playing in the top flight.

“I feel like I’ve fit right in. The guys at the club have been really helpful, and everyone has been amazing with me,” Doyle continued.

“But these are the moments you live for—winning matches and entertaining the enthusiastic crowd—which was fantastic.

“I’m overjoyed, and maybe we can keep going strong.

It strikes me as a really diligent club.

Following two fleeting league substitute appearances, Doyle’s breakthrough moment for Wolves arrived over the weekend when he contributed significantly off the bench in the team’s comeback victory over Bournemouth.
