Rangers might now sell their “quality” summer acquisition as he has only managed two goals.

Since Philippe Clement arrived at Ibrox, Rangers have been almost flawless, making up for their dismal Scottish Premiership debut under Michael Beale, who was promptly fired. Even though they are still far behind Celtic at the top of the table, the Gers are making progress and may assemble a team under Clement that is prepared to contend for the next campaign.

Rangers may first have to reverse the terrible moves made during the summer transfer window, which did not aid Beale at all in the beginning of the season. The sale of a specific failure might be among the brutal decisions the Scottish powerhouses make once new sports director Nils Koppen arrives at Ibrox in the new year.

Rangers - Never been a better time to support the Gers!News about Rangers transfers

Rangers had to make the proper trade decisions in order to stop Celtic from winning the Scottish Premiership for a record third time, especially after losing players like Ryan Kent and Alfredo Morelos in the summer. Now, though, as the hectic holiday season draws near, it’s evident that the Ibrox management made mistakes. Instead, they made such grave mistakes that there are rumours that one specific summer signing may already be for sale.

Sam Lammers, who has struggled to make an impression since joining the Rangers from Atalanta during the summer, may be Koppen’s first assignment at the Rangers, according to The Sun. With just two goals, the striker has at times epitomised the Gers’ difficulties and may now be making an extraordinarily early exit. He won’t be the only summer signing who might be leaving, as Cyriel Dessers is said to be headed out the door after going through comparable difficulties.

Rangers: Ryan Kent and Alfredo Morelos not offered new deals, says Michael Beale - BBC SportRecently, Clement acknowledged that his current team is out of balance, saying through The Scotsman:

“It is not realistic to draw a firm judgement about the entire squad at this time. There is an imbalance in the team, so naturally, we have thoughts, have discussed it, and are looking at things as a club. We have a lot of players in certain spots and not so many in others. These are the things to aim for in January; the performance of every player over the following five weeks will be quite intriguing.

Rangers’ “Quality” Lammers is nearing the end of his tenure.
Lammers may depart Rangers before he has even been at Ibrox for a year if they are to be brutal in their pursuit of regaining the top spot in the Scottish Premiership. Lammers has been quite unimpressive, as seen by his numbers, where he has only scored twice all season.

However, Clement recently gave him optimism when he lauded his forward, saying on Sky Sports:

Not only does he possess good technical ability, but he also has considerable height. We must maintain a balance in our roster so that we don’t have too many smaller players and risk getting into difficulty as a result. In Scottish football, you also need enough tall men for the set pieces, since opponents are particularly waiting for that.

“So yeah, he is somebody with good technical quality who can score goals but he needs to believe more in himself – we’re working on that, we’re working with him like that, and I think this goal will give him a lot of confidence because it was top quality.”
