The Villans have undergone a significant transformation since Unai Emery was appointed in October 2022. As they aim for a top four finish this season, Villa has transformed from a struggling Premier League squad to a team participating in European football for the first time in more than ten years.

On Wednesday, Emery’s squad travels to Villa Park to play champion Manchester City in an attempt to tie the club record for the most straight victories there. If they win, they will also pass Pep Guardiola’s team in the standings.
