Another transfer has arrived for Tennessee on the attacking end of the court. The Volunteers attempted to finish the tight end room as a whole when they successfully landed their second tight end in the portal late on Friday night. Transfer tight end for Alabama Miles Kitselman committed to Tennessee after his visit. Kitselman, a 6’5 and 250-pound junior transfer from Lyndon High School, is a strong athlete. He comes in behind Notre Dame’s Holden Staes as the second tight end to transfer to the Volunteers. Tennessee is losing McCallan Castles and Jacob Warren because of eligibility issues, so the Orange and White must get two trustworthy tight ends. Given that the majority of the Volunteers’ tight end room was youthful, Kitselman’s experience is greatly appreciated. Currently in Tennessee

The Volunteers have a reputation for making unusual use of their tight ends, particularly in the last two seasons with the additions of McCallan Castles, Jacob Warren, and Princeton Fant. The Volunteers have added much-needed depth to an exceptionally young group of student-athletes and made the position group more balanced, so it will be interesting to watch who they deploy in the tight end position. Now, Tennessee will have a tight-end room full of playmakers, freshmen, freaks, and transfers.
