Jim Harbaugh saw Michigan through its incredible season before leaving the NCAA and entering the NFL.

Sherrone Moore is the leading candidate to be the head coach of the Wolverines, and he will probably have to deal with any fines that are assessed.

In 2015, the Michigan Wolverines football coach returned to his alma institution after realizing his dream of becoming a man of destiny. He brought the Wolverines back to national prominence and ultimately to supremacy. With three straight victories over Ohio State and the program’s first unchallenged national title since 1948, he finished with a bang. As he leaves for the Los Angeles Chargers and the NFL, he will always be remembered as the beloved son from his days as a daring quarterback in the 1980s.

However, it’s not quite that easy. Due to the fact that Harbaugh is leaving the country ahead of likely NCAA fines for alleged infractions committed during his tenure. This past season, he received a six-game suspension, and that may have been the warm-up fines. There are still two Michigan infractions cases pending, and it is expected that Harbaugh will be facing Level I claims in both of them—quite possibly the most charges in a short amount of time.
