In the Indiana Fever’s most recent back-to-back victory over the Minnesota Lynx, Caitlin Clark became enraged with a player following an intentional foul during a fastbreak.
After grabbing a steal close to Indiana’s basket during the third quarter of Sunday’s 81-74 victory, Clark raced down the court in transition, only to have Lynx forward Cecilia Zandalasini grab him at halfcourt.
When the whistle blew, the 21-year-old point guard whacked Zandalasini with her right hand because she was upset about how she was fouled.
The Lynx players near Zandalasini were protesting the call, so she put her hand over her right eye and Clark went to the free throw line.

However, after the club defeated the Phoenix Mercury earlier this week, Clark finished the game with 17 points to help the Fever win another game on the road.
With nine assists in the first quarter of the game, Clark surpassed the Fever’s franchise record for most assists in a quarter (7).
In the Fever’s game against Minnesota, Kelsey Mitchell and Aliyah Boston scored 21 and 17 points, respectively.
In addition, Boston pulled down a career-high 16 rebounds and stopped four Indiana baskets.
Indiana (11–14) has won three of its last four games and back-to-back games after losing 10 of its first 13 games then winning eight of the following 12.
Despite being forced to the bench due to foul trouble in the second half, Minnesota’s Alanna Smith finished with eight rebounds, four steals, and eight points (16-8). Bridget Carleton ended with 17 points, 7 rebounds, and 6 assists, tying her career high with five 3-pointers.
Napheesa Collier of Minnesota (foot) missed her fourth straight game.
After going only 1 of 9 from beyond the arc in the first three quarters, Clark opened the fourth quarter with a fiercely contested 3-pointer.
