The Nigerian international Ajayi’s last game for the Baggies was a 0-0 draw against Plymouth Argyle on October 21. Ecuadorian international Sarmiento hasn’t played for the team since the end of September.

The Spaniard said that both players would be included in the starting lineup for the match if they finish the training session on Friday (via West Brom’s official website, November 3). The game is scheduled to take place at The Hawthorns on Saturday, November 4.

“Jeremy Sarmiento and Semi Ajayi are two players who can be included in the matchday squad on Saturday if they finish the training session on Friday,” the speaker stated.

“They both trained with the group on Thursday, and they performed admirably.”

“Adding players back to your roster is usually a pretty good thing, especially if you have been missing a lot of them lately.

We have one additional center-back option in Semi, who was playing in the starting lineup at the beginning of the year.

The return of both players is good news because Jeremy can open up a lot of offensive options for us.

vital stimulus

Despite their growing injury list, the Baggies are playing well right now, as seen by their fifth-place finish in the Championship table and their nine-game winning streak.

Corberan will undoubtedly need some of his injured players back healthy and available ahead of a critical stretch of games in the upcoming weeks, and the news about Sarmiento and Ajayi is the boost they need at such a critical time.

To stake their claim for an early promotion battle, the Baggies need some consistent victories on the board, and to achieve so, they’ll need their key players to be in excellent form and well enough to start most games.

Since the beginning of the season, Sarmiento and Ajayi have shown themselves to be benchwarmers, but Corberan will be confidence in both players’ ability to go in and support the squad when necessary, and the club will be thrilled to have them back to full fitness.

Given the limited offensive choices available to Corberan, armiento in particular is a great boost. The Ecuadorian international can add a special spark to the Baggies attack, but he can also give Jed Wallace and Grady Diangana competition as they now want to remain in the starting lineup.

Excellent news at this momentous occasion.

In unrelated West Brom news, this senior player could never play for Corberan again following his awful performance against Coventry.
