Los Angeles Rams tight end Tyler Higbee suffered a ruptured ACL after taking a hard hit against the Detroit Lions on Sunday night, according to Ian Rapoport’s reports. Lions safety Kerby Joseph started the hit, posting on social media with the comment, “I don’t have no intention to hurt nobody and or harm their career.” Higbee still has a long way to go before the following season.
In the fourth quarter of the 24-23 loss, Higbee attempted a pass that fell incomplete concurrently with the hit, and that is the play that is under consideration. Higbee had 47 receptions for 495 yards and two touchdowns during the regular season, but he failed not catch a pass in the Wild Card game against the Lions. From Western Kentucky, he was chosen by the Rams in the fourth round of the 2016 NFL Draft. Similar: ‘Go Win It All!’ Jared Goff and Stafford’s Post-Game Conversation disclosed If Higbee is unable to play in Week 1 for Los Angeles, Davis Allen, the backup tight end, will probably be the Rams’ choice. Allen had just a small part in the 2023 campaign.
