Following the summer window,
Wainman admitted something about Saints defender Manning
According to Leeds United analyst Joe Wainman, who was speaking to Give Me Sport, the Whites’ supporters were sad to lose Ryan Manning to Southampton.
The West Yorkshire team was at a disadvantage earlier in the summer as a result of their takeover drama, despite being just as appealing to join as the Saints.
Daniel Farke was only hired in the first few weeks of July, weeks after the summer transfer window had already begun, in addition to this.
Fortunately for Leeds, the 49ers’ acquisition was granted, and they were permitted to make purchases during the previous window. The money they made in the Premier League may have given them permission to make the large summertime purchases they made.
They also made money off of a few players, notably Tyler Adams, which may enable them to acquire players in January if necessary.
The summer scouting season for Leeds United
The loss of many important players to loans throughout the summer will have devastated the Whites.
However, they were able to recruit several top-notch players, and probably more crucially, they addressed a crucial issue in the closing hours of the window with the additions of Ilia Gruev and Glen Kamara.

That was crucial since, before to their arrival, this department lacked depth, which may have thwarted an Elland Road promotion drive.
However, they have made enough improvements in a number of crucial areas to put themselves in a strong position to finish in the top six at the conclusion of the season.
Ryan Manning’s interest from Leeds United
Manning, a left back who left Swansea City when his contract expired, was a target for Leeds this summer.
However, he made the decision to join Southampton in the middle of July, which was a setback for the Whites, who had apparently shown interest.
This, according to pundit Wainman, was especially upsetting for Leeds’ fan base and may have put them on edge as they sought to recruit Joel Piroe before Russell Martin’s team, which they ultimately succeeded in doing.
I believe Manning was the big, he said.

the significant one since we were all elated. All of us had already seen the statistics he presented.”We all thought we were maybe closer to signing him than we actually were. This will be a terrific beginning for the window, I thought. We’re adding a dynamic left-back with his goal-scoring abilities, etc. Take a look at his goals and assists.
t period.
“Then, I would argue, especially before the season began, he went to one of our league rivals. You can see the three demoted clubs in this picture. I considered Southampton’s acquisition of him to be somewhat of a coup.
“And then, given the Martin connections and other things, it caused me to worry about Piroe. Therefore, Ryan Manning was perhaps the one with whom we were most dissatisfied. Nevertheless, given how things are now going, perhaps we didn’t lose out on too much.
Should Leeds United have gotten Ryan Manning instead?
It’s tough to predict Manning’s performance at Leeds.
You would support his ability to succeed for the Saints.
However, in the long run since he still has a lot of potential to develop and because they worked together at Swansea, he already has a thorough understanding of his current management.
Sam Byram has joined Leeds, although that team would have benefited more from signing Manning, who can be a strength both offensively and defensively. Byram is probably not a long-term solution in that area.
He would have been a great addition because he could play in both a back four and a back three, plus he was a free agent.
When all of their alternatives are viable, they don’t exactly lack depth in this department, therefore it’s debatable to what extent they will lament losing out on Manning.
