Leeds United have officially announced the signing of midfielder Glen Kamara from Scottish side Rangers. The 27-year-old Finnish international has signed a four-year contract with the Yorkshire club, which will keep him at Elland Road until the summer of 2027. Kamara has had a notable career with Rangers since joining them in January 2019 from Dundee for a modest fee of £50,000. He was instrumental in their undefeated 2020/21 season, which saw Rangers clinch the Scottish Premiership title for the first time in a decade. Additionally, he helped the team reach the UEFA Europa League final in 2022, scoring a crucial goal in the semi-final against RB Leipzig.
On the international stage, Kamara has earned 52 caps for the Finnish national team and represented his country in the UEFA Euro 2020 tournament. His experience at both domestic and international levels is expected to bring much-needed depth and versatility to the Leeds midfield.
