Tennessee is actively pursuing former Texas A&M offensive lineman Remington Strickland, as seen by another offer it made through the transfer portal. The former four-star prospect said that he would be hitting the portal on November 30th and that he would still be eligible for two seasons after that.

Strickland said that Tennessee had extended an offer to him a day later.

Strickland, a Sugar Land, Texas native, was ranked among the top 300 prospects in the 2021 class overall. At 6-4 and 300 pounds, he can aid Tennessee at any of the three interior offensive line positions.

After taking a redshirt in 2021, he played in nine games for the Aggies the next two seasons. During his tenure at College Station, Strickland failed to record a single victory.

Guard Javontez Spraggins and centre Cooper Mays may return to Tennessee for another season. But reserve guard Mo Clipper has already entered the portal, and Ollie Lane, the veteran, will be leaving. Of course, more may come after. We’ve already seen how crucial numbers are, therefore it’s imperative to have a room full of qualified people. Tennessee most likely will do it again this cycle, as they did with Andrej Karic and John Campbell the previous year.
